I have glimpsed the eyes of God in your eyes,
I have experienced his greatness kneeling before you,
I have seen spirit take shape by seeing your hardwork,
I have known love, just by your words.
I have learnt history just by watching you,
I have touched the heart of life just by listening to you.
The soul of the universe has whispered to me,
And directed me to a higher purpose,
Because of your teachings.
And if anyone should ask, what is divinity?
I’ll point to you,
If anyone should say show me kindness,
Ill direct them to your steps.
Because in you, resides the Supreme,
In God, you reside.
You are the beauty of the universe,
You are warmth and loyalty.
You are legacies, tradition, proud and unchanged.
You are god and goddess,
Mother and Father,
You are the eternal that lives in me.
