Until the End of Time

 “I live and I desire”.

If I should find you one day,
In some magical moment in time,
I’ll thank the heavens for its direction,
To a place, that is neither yours nor mine.

For these shores have no recollection,
Of either you or I,
I go searching for a memory,
Where the oceans touch the sky.

So if perchance, you make it here
But I’ve left and gone somewhere,
I hope you find a way to me,
If life whispers it’s our destiny.

So until that day, I’ll traverse the fields of longing,
In search of a place that was made for two,
And hope someday you stumble upon my heart and soul,
And know these were the things I thought best to leave to you.
