Fallen Fairy

She walks along the shore of carnal pleasures and through the monstrous fire,
With her broken wings in her hand, she’s fallen from above,
Bound to a heart of wounded wants and unfulfilled desire,
This beautiful fairy has fallen in love.

But she can’t fly anymore, can’t smile anymore,
She’s a little fairy with torn up wings,
An elfin creature feeling too many things.
Little fairy, where is the one who made you fall?
Where is he, who you thought was worth it all?

She’s fallen for a mortal mystery,
A face of virtue and sin,
She’s in love with an earthly angel,
Who revels in her suffering.

So kiss the loneliness you’ve reaped from mortality,
Find warmth in the heartache you fell for,
Look at the stars and rejoice at their cruelty,
Because you were the one who wanted more.

Little fairy you were born into heaven but sadly you fell,
When you wanted the heart of your stranger from hell.
And now that you’ve tasted the agony of love, I’ll say this to you,
Don’t hope and wish for happiness in your dreams of two.
